As a Culinary Specialist in the U.S. Army, you’ll be in charge of preparing and serving large-scale meals comparable to any major restaurant so that Soldiers can sit down and enjoy a hot meal in between training or mission deployments. You’ll be responsible for the preparation and service of meals both in field and at home stations, as well as ordering, inspecting food supplies, and keeping the kitchen safe and sanitary.

ACTIVE ARMY ENLISTMENT BONUS

Qualified full-time recruits may be eligible for a combination of bonuses totaling up to $50,000. The maximum bonus for a three, four, five, or six-year contracts.

EUDCATION

You can choose to serve part-time in the Army while you go to college. Many Soldiers take advantage of this unique opportunity to get career training, train a weekend a month and two weeks a year, and earn money while getting their degree.
